UH-01/02 are a collection of versatile display holders. They began as a study of decorative pattern making on a wood lathe, highlighting the marriage of different exotics woods into a homogeneous artifact. The forms are angular and almost brutalist, borrowing a structural directness more often found in cast concrete than in wood.
